Louisiana, Federation of Republican Women
The Louisiana Federation of Republican Women has adopted CIVICS FOR KIDS as their state project.
The CIVIC FOR KIDS project is our way to insure that children are exposed to and/or taught some basics of being an America through out their school career.
There are four goals:
1. Kindergarten-age children: Pledge of Allegiance
2. 3rd graders: Distribute Dictionaries which include historical information
3. 5th grader: Privilege to Vote
4. 10th graders: Distribute copies of the U.S. Constitution
