Deadline for application either April or May, before the end of the school year. The recipients is chosen based on grade point average, scholastic and extra-cirricular activities, plus a 500 word essay on a chosen topic. The scholarships can be presented at graduation cermonies, invited winner to club to read their essays and meet club members… you get the idea – this project makes for good press opportunities.
